These 4 test tubes  are left over from the 10 TestTube Mystery. But they create a new mystery.

Of the two on the left one contains 6M ammonia and the other 6 M HCl. They have been sitting next to each other  for one week.

The two on the right contain the same materials but have only been sitting there for an hour or so.

The Two Test Tube MYSTERY
The mystery is:
1.  What are the white crystals which collect at the top of some of these tubes?
2.  Why do these crystals form on one of the two tubes more than the other?
3.  Which tubes contain the ammonia and which the HCl?
4.  What are your reasons for this conclusion?
5.  Which tube is giving off the smoke?
